KAWS at The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum Exhibition
The highly anticipated KAWS exhibition at The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum took place this past weekend. Blending some of KAWS’ retrospective work with some new pieces. Some of KAWS’ largest pieces to date were also complimented by large scale figures. In addition, perhaps the most unforeseen KAWS creation of the exhibition was a preview of an upcoming MEDICOM TOY figure based on Pinocchio and embodying KAWS’ signature companion.

Chocolate X Etnies Devine Mid
Devine Calloway brings etnies and Chocolate together for its first joint venture as we see the unveiling of a new colorway in Calloway’s signature Devine Mid. The shoes feature inspiration from the band Parliament, with a color scheme and font design influenced by Parliament’s logo. Along with the shoes, Chocolate produced a matching skate deck to complete the set. Look for these now through finer skate shops and etnies stockists.
Louis Vuitton Bag Preview
Esteemed fashion designer and LV creative director Marc Jacobs enlisted the skills of artist Scott Campbell for a new line of Louis Vuitton bags, more than likely set to release for Spring/Summer 2011. The bags feature Campbell’s intricate artwork on several designs, including solid leather offerings and the label’s iconic damier print silhouette. Stay tuned for a closer look as we draw nearer to the 2011 S/S season.
